Q&A

If there was one piece of art you could feature in, which would it be and why?

Just a drop in Sugimoto´s sea.

Who inspires you and why? An artist, a family member, someone current or historical?

Nature, nature and again nature. It never stops surprising and inspiring me.

What are your cultural aspirations? What do you still want to see, do and achieve?

I have always dreamt of developing a project related to the art business, in which culture would harmoniously meet the market.

What are your favourite cultural cities in the world and why?

Paris for sure, where past and present meet.

What are you up to at the moment and where can we find it?

My big project at the moment is Art Photo Bcn, a little fair dedicated to emerging photography. I founded it last year in Barcelona with Isabel Lazaro Garcia.

We invite galleries from Spain and abroad to show the works of young photographers, we scout new talents and organize courses and talks related to the contemporary photography market. Our second edition is planned for October 1-4 2015 at the Chic & Basic Hotel in Barcelona. It´s a very exciting and rewarding project.
