Q&A

If there was one piece of art you could feature in, which would it be and why?

I would love to record an acoustic blues album with Iggy Pop.

Who inspires you and why? An artist, a family member, someone current or historical?

Clubs & DJs have always inspired me - a night out at DC10 in Ibiza watching and listening to Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler and the Martinez brothers jamming gets my creativity flowing.

What are your cultural aspirations? What do you still want to see, do and achieve?

I want to direct documentaries - a Miles Davis one is on the cards right now, and I also want to see my screenplay, Paintbox, actually be made. I would also love to travel to South America and do a tour of the ruins and the museums scattered through all those amazing countries.

What are your favourite cultural cities in the world and why?

My top 2 have to be NYC and London, for the amount of great museums and interesting people in each city. But also, every time I go to Paris I feel like there is so much more for me to discover there, and it's music scene is so underrated.

What are you up to at the moment and where can we find it?

I'm making music as SLAM DUNK’D, have a new record label - BAKED RECORDINGS, and getting ready for my film, 808 The Movie, to be released: www.soundcloud.com/slamdunkd www.facebook.com/slamdunkd 808 The Movie Trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIS-o_--wqY
